Qualitas Timeline
2008
Qualitas Career Academy was established
2008-2012
Started offering the Hairdressing qualifications accredited by Services Seta. Supplying the market with qualified Haidressers.
2013
Registered with DHET as a private college offering a variety of courses from Business Management, Accounting, Computer training and Educare to Electrical Engineering and even Sound Engineering. We continued to offer our Hairdressing qualifications and also added our Beauty & Wellness division.
2019
We strategically refocused on key courses including Business Management, Educare, Beauty & Wellness, Hair Design, Electrical Engineering, and Architectural Draughtsmanship.
2020
We upgraded our Hair Design course to our very first Occupational qualification – Hairdresser.
We also changed our logo this year.
2022
After receiving accreditation, we upgraded to the latest course for Electrician namely the Occupational Certificate: Electrician
2023
Started offering the Occupational Certificate: Electrician full-time
2025
Also upgraded our Beauty Therapy course to the latest Occupational qualification in Beauty Therapy
2026
Our Draughtsmanship programme will also join the Occupational qualifications. We'll continue to offer the Occupational Certificates and we are researching new skills programmes to offer in the future!
